Ready for another bug yet?
Been testing 'turbo' mode.
When I enable turbo in a trades edit screen and go to the board then turn turbo on it does what I would expect - ie it lights up in green and hogs the outgoing a bit.
However when I tuen turbo off on the board it remains green and 20 mins later is still taking 80% of the hits.
If I go into its edit screen and turn include in turbo off then the green dissapears and so does the hit-hogging behaviour.
In other words turning turbo on using the cute icon works fine but turning it off does not. |

And another.... I am starting to think you should pay me for testing the software for you....
I have a trade thats been disabled (blue) for the last two days yet its showing 4 hits out in the last 24 hours.... how come?
Another disbled trade that has been disabled for 36 hours is showing one hit out.
Both are my sites that I am running as feeds into the tgp- ie they are sending hits in but because they are disabled no hits at all should be going out.... or so I thought.
Not worried about a 'leak' of this tiny volume but it shouldnt be happening. |

Are they on your toplist?
Disabled sites appear on toplists -- Set it to not be included on toplist. |

Ahah so thats the reason.... Fair enough. Not a bug then but a 'Feature' lol.
Sooner you get some sort of manual together the better I think! |

No sorry - got one hit out today showing on a trade that is enabled for the top list but can never appear on it (no traffic in and only 12 positions in toplist for 20 trades).
This means some traffic to the disabled trades cannot be coming off clicks on toplist.
Also have some very mysterious figures on the board - for example
in out trade click gallery click Total Click click again
5 42 0 0 0 88%
Erm... I make that click again zero percent and they should be outa there! |

More mysterious click again stats Sun Aug 27, 2006 11:23 am |
|
|
1 2 0 0 0 150.00%
So 150% of the one visitors clicked again?
6 0 9 4 13 0%
And 0% of these six visitors clicked again despite 13 clicks being recorded?
0 3 0 0 0 66.67%
And 66.67% of no visitors clicked again recording 0 clicks?
3 28 0 0 0 85.71%
And 85% of 3 visitors clicked again but generated no clicks?
My trades table is full of this. Most every row of stats I see is wrong someplace. I find this worrying because if the reportings wrong then so will be the decision making around sending hits for example:
7 21 0 0 0 76.19% 0% 300%
I would much rather send double the hits to
16 21 3 8 11 85.71% 68.75% 131.25%
and I have the board set to trade on uniques which should by my reckoning mean that the second trade recieved more hits than the first anyway. I tried trading on productivity a few days ago but that gave me some really strange results like sending 60 hits to a trade that only sent me two surfers one of whom managed to click on a trade several times.
For my largest trade I have had to resort to forcing hits to them since
if I just leave it they only get a 5% return... and they send me 40-50 uniques an hour at least if I force 10 an hour back they get 15% which is
oddly less than the force. To me force means force and I dont understand this at all!
And yes everybody is on uniques and my other trades all together the volume adds to double that of my largest trade which should make returning hit for hit easy.
I am on the verge of sitting down for two days and coding my own tradescript because I am starting to tear my hair out here. I feel I have to go back and look at every line twice a day otherwise I either dont return hits or I leak traffic all over the net via small trades. |

I answered your click again question in another thread.
If they have 0 outs they can't have a click againt pct, now can they?
The trade with 3 outs, 66% of the time, the surfers clicked again after being sent to that trade. |

| Is it possible, as it is in a certain other script... to be able to add more than one trade per URL. For example - I want to add a trade to a sites index page but I also want to force traffic to their toplist. At the moment I have to sign up one of my own sites and put a page there that redirects to the toplist in order to send it a hit. I dont care if incomings are counted as the same from either source but I need to force outs to one and trade normally with the other. |

Should be
Skim: "ttt-out.php?pct=60&url=http://www.example.com" (60% to URL)
Minor problemette but confusing 4 the newbies when everything goes to trades and nothing to galleries.... |
Thanks for letting me know.
Probably typed that section out late @ night. |

Hello,
I notice you are using a mix of old and new style predefined variables. For example in some places you use $_POST and in some you use $HTTP_COOLKE_VARS.
I am on Dream Host and the old style $HTTP_XXX_VARS are not there so I put the following in place.
Open the ttt-mysql.values.inc.php (i chose this file because this is included at the top of every page).
Add this right after the opening <?php tag:
| Code: | if(!isset($HTTP_GET_VARS)) {
$HTTP_GET_VARS = $_GET;
}
if(!isset($_GET)) {
$_GET = $HTTP_GET_VARS;
}
if(!isset($HTTP_POST_VARS)) {
$HTTP_POST_VARS = $_POST;
}
if(!isset($_POST)) {
$_POST = $HTTP_POST_VARS;
}
if(!isset($HTTP_SERVER_VARS)) {
$HTTP_SERVER_VARS = $_SERVER;
}
if(!isset($_SERVER)) {
$_SERVER = $HTTP_SERVER_VARS;
}
if(!isset($HTTP_COOKIE_VARS)) {
$HTTP_COOKIE_VARS = $_COOKIE;
}
if(!isset($_SERVER)) {
$_COOKIE = $HTTP_COOKIE_VARS;
}
if(!isset($HTTP_POST_FILES)) {
$HTTP_POST_FILES = $_FILES;
}
if(!isset($_FILES)) {
$_FILES = $HTTP_POST_FILES;
}
if(!isset($HTTP_ENV_VARS)) {
$HTTP_ENV_VARS = $_ENV;
}
if(!isset($_FILES)) {
$_ENV = $HTTP_ENV_VARS;
}

it sounds like the problem was worked out by a member, so that's nice. I'm having issues with the toplist though -
I can't make the darn thing build, it tells me "No toplists exist",
when I click "add toplist" it tells me " is not a valid file name (A to Z only) -- Toplist not added."
if I click edit toplist it reports "/home/user/domains/site.com/public_html/ttt_admin/toplist2.php on line 12"
Can I download the older script somewhere? The lack of support here is driving me nuts. |

Haven't seen this problem anywhere else, but....
when I have a query string in the url of a page with ttt-in.php included, the page doesn't load. Just shows a blank white page. As soon as I remove either:
a) the query string (ie - index.php?nicheid=22) or
b) ttt-in.php
then it loads fine.
UPDATE: Pages load fine if I put ttt-in.php at the BOTTOM of the page, though there's no way to be sure if the script is actually running properly. _________________ trade here: http://www.myfilthysecrets.com/ept/webmasters
